I just watched the whole of Zathura, from beginning to end, but I only got 40 minutes into 2001: A Space Odyssey before I zoned out completely. Haha.

The last hour or so resembles the visualizations in iTunes on crack. I mean there's not even any dialogue. It's like OUTER SPACE LOOKS LIKE BEING ON ACID AT DISNEYLAND /over

Bahaha! I tried to get back into it towards the end but then it started with those psychedelic colors and crap and I was gone again. I'm sure at some point I'll sit down and watch it again, but I'll have to be really into it.

The psychedelic colors literally last for like 30 solid minutes, I think. I mean they're cool and whatnot but I'm pretty sure that's about 30 minutes that might have no substance except to say, look at the pretty colors. I'm sure lots of people call it deep and meaningful, but pretty much it's not.
