michals: (Conan is made of awesome (x2))
Every time I hear that Val Kilmer is a dick, or arrogant, or fat, or whatever I always think "I know, I know, I know" but then I watch videos like this and I want to put him in my pocket and carry him around with me.

I mean, "I want to start over!" C'mon, he's adorable. Don't make me to link to all the videos where he makes Robert Downey Jr giggle like a little girl.

This guy is awesome. His general American accent is perfect. (NSFW language, btw)

michals: (late night soap operas)
This guy's my hero. That probably makes me sad.

michals: (my sweet)

michals: (I am immature)
Is it like really, really bad that I've laughed myself sick at this video a good eight times and in fact am giggling about it as I write this?

I almost literally cannot stop listening to Teddy Thompson's Everybody Move it. I blame [livejournal.com profile] rayslady. Because it's her fault.

When I'm not listening to that, it's this. Justin Townes Earle (who I saw in concert) covers Springsteen's Atlantic City:

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled spazzing.

(Although I totally have so much more stuff to bring over from my other account and the new account still has problems. *sigh* Why do computers hate me so much?)

Saw How to Train Your Dragon last night and for some reason I am just head over heels for it. I mean, it's not perfect and I can pick out a lot of stuff that isn't perfect but I still adore it like stupid crazy. We actually saw Dragon because we watched Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and that was surprisingly awesome so we had high hopes for Dragon and they totally paid off. Seriously, it's really beautiful and fun to watch in 3D and the story is sooo cute and awesome you should see it now.

michals: (I hearts Ryan Howard)

"John and I have been a couple for a few years now..."

Don't tease me BJ! That's not nice!

"What are you doing?!"
"I'm trying...to put you to sleep"

michals: (keira laugh)
Big Bang Theory season 2 bloopers! :D

michals: (kitteh!)
Did I ever tell you guys I love gag reels? I looove bloopers and gag reels for shows and movies, they make my life. I love seeing people having so much fun making films and shows, I love that they make each other laugh, and that they mess up too. I went on a spree recently and watched a whole bunch on youtube, and the best so far is easily How I Met Your Mother season 4, but I keep losing it (damn copyright laws) so I'm putting it here for posterity.

I love how Josh Radnor laughs, it always looks like whatever he's laughing at is the funniest thing that ever was. I also found the bloopers for The Big Bang Theory season 2, and they're super cute. They make me love Johnny Galecki even more. He does this adorable thing where when he messes up he immediately gives this goofy little laugh "Oh you mean when you-ha." and then jokes around with the other castmates. So adorable.

Hmmm, whatever happened to that little hiatus I thought I'd be taking...
michals: (autumn)
Oh, it's all nice and sunny now. Stupid weather.

So my Halloween again is pretty pathetic. I mean, I'll be doing more than I did my first year, but I still don't have a costume and all we're going to do is see Zombieland and Paranormal Activity later tonight. Eh. One of these years I'll actually have to do something.

And I'm not the only one who thinks Neal Caffrey's got the crazy eyes. I watched the new episode last night with my friend Jon and he kept bugging his eyes out and repeating every thing Neal said the whole time. Hahaha.

Also, this is pretty funny at first, but it get infinitely funnier at 1 am when your friend's roommate can sing along in a perfect Bill Cosby impersonation.

Happy Halloween people!!

EDIT: My Image Design teacher (aka cinematography) has sent out two emails to all his students about swine flu. This amuses me.
michals: (not some set of lyrics)
Hey dollfaces! Sorry I've been AWOL, it's actually been so long since I've been on LJ that it dropped off my address bar! I'm sure I've missed some stuff, so if I did, tell me about it here, I don't want anyone feeling like I'm ignoring you.

My perfect yesterday )

Also, this is what my cat Ivy does pretty much all day long, only she's old and fat and not cute and little, and her meow isn't so much squeeky and little rather than forced and haggard sounding:

michals: (I'm gonna know who you are)
How can something like Susan Boyle not make you smile? Seriously, when the audience starts clapping after her first line, it just gets to me. I have no idea why absolutely none of the videos allow embedding.

And I figured something out about House that I'm not going to like. )
michals: (to do without)
So it seems pretty much everyone has gotten into Merlin so I looked up some clips on Youtube, because it's about young versions of British myth in the Middle Ages, that's pretty much my type of thing. And with this:

I have deduced two things. 1)I am absolutely incapable of imagining what people's voices would sound like.* The guy who plays Arthur didn't sound like he was 40 years old in my head. And 2) These two are freaking asking for it. Holy crap. Just what I don't need, another show to catch up on.

*To this day, every time I watch Maurice, I'm surprised by James Wilby's voice. He's so tall and skinny and so very blonde and pale I don't expect his voice to be half as deep as it is. Not that I'm complaining, it's a damn lovely voice, I've downloaded the Regeneration score just to listen to him talk.
